Welcome to Palms Elementary, your Community School.
On behalf of our staff, we welcome our current families and those who are exploring our school for the first time. At Palms, we work together with families and the community to support every child’s academic success and social-emotional well-being. LAUSD Bus Transportation

LAUSD offers bus transportation for all students living more than 1 mile from their school. Please see the flyer and video tutorial below for information about applying for bus transportation.

Open Enrollment for 2026-2027 begins April 13!

You can enroll at Palms ES even if you don't live in the Palms neighborhood. The application window for District K-12 Open Enrollment is open: April 13 (with an on-time application deadline of May 4).

Parents can submit their applications electronically through the portal: https://apply.lausd.net OR pick up an Open Enrollment 2025 paper application from the Main Office beginning April 21st (English and Spanish).


Puedes inscribirte en la Escuela Primaria Palms incluso si no vives en el vecindario de Palms. El plazo de solicitud para la Inscripción Abierta del Distrito K-12 está a la vuelta de la esquina: 13 de abril (la fecha límite para presentar la solicitud es el 4 de mayo).

Los padres pueden enviar sus solicitudes electrónicamente a través del portal: https://apply.lausd.net o recoger una solicitud impresa para la Inscripción Abierta 2025 en la Oficina Principal a partir del 21 de abril (en inglés y español).
